Top Cow Comics

The Tomb Raider comics published by Top Cow Productions were ran between 1999 and 2005. These comics are primarily based on the same continuity as the classic games by Core Design. Writers Dan Jurgens, John Nay Riber, James Bonny, and Fiona Kai Avery worked on the issues, which also featured the art of Michael Turner, Marc Silvestri, David Finch, Andy Park, Billy Tan, Adam Hughes, Randy Green amongst others.

Tomb Raider: The Series

The main set of Top Cow Tomb Raider comics. A little more than 50 regular issues which chronicle the various adventures of Lara Croft.

Tomb Raider: Journeys

The spinoff of the main set of comics. The 12-part series ran from January 2001 through May 2003, and entirely written by Fiona Kai Avery.

One-shots

Lara Croft's short stories that didn't fit into the metanarrative (no following issues), so they became the so called "one-shots".

Lara Croft's adventures in other badass universes. (Witchblade, Dark Crossings, The Darkness, Fathom, Monster War, and more.)

Dark Horse Comics

In 2013 Tomb Raider made an official return to comics based on the reboot series. This ongoing era picks up Lara Croft's adventures where the new games left off. Writers Rhianna Pratchett, Gail Simone, Mariko Tamaki, Jackson Lanzing, and Collin Kelly working on the series, which also featuring the art of Nicolás Daniel Selma, Andrea Mutti, Derlis Santacruz, Philip Sevy, and Michael Atiyeh amongst others.

Tomb Raider: The Beginning

Prelude to Tomb Raider (2013). The Beginning follows the previously untold story of how the crew came together for The Endurance's fateful mission to discover the Yamatai island.

Tomb Raider (2014)

The story continues where Tomb Raider (2013) left off. Lara and the other survivors of the Endurance are experiencing horrific visions after their ordeal in the lost kingdom of Yamatai...

Lara Croft and the Frozen Omen

Uncommon Comics

This category includes the VERY first Tomb Raider comic which was released in the August 1996 issue of the Mean Machines SEGA magazine. This first pieces of published franchise fiction were written by Vicky Arnold and illustrated by artist Paul Peart.
