The second major update for Tomb Raider IV–VI Remastered is now live, delivering a wide range of refinements, visual upgrades, and fan-favorite additions across The Last Revelation, Chronicles, and The Angel of Darkness.
Highlights include Golden Pistols, new outfits and hairstyle option for Lara, expanded Photo Mode settings, enhanced loading screens, and improvements to outfit details. The update also addresses numerous bug fixes and level-specific issues—restoring missing geometry, correcting textures, and polishing lighting.
Tomb Raider IV: The Last Revelation & Tomb Raider V: Chronicles [General]
- Added Golden Pistols, unlocked upon linking the game to Society of Raiders
- How to unlock?
- Scroll toward the Join the Society of Raiders page from the game select screen (past Angel of Darkness screen).
- Click on the Register button to generate the QR code.
- Scan the QR code to be brought over to the tombraider.com registration page. Register on the page, or log in with your Society of Raiders account if you registered previously.
- Once registration is complete, a "Success!" screen will appear.
- Enter either The Last Revelation or Chronicles.
- Once in the game, go to the Sunglasses menu -> Outfit to toggle the Golden Pistols on or off.
- How to unlock?
- An additional hairstyle option has been added: players can now switch between the default 'Classic Braid' and the bubble braid, as featured in FMVs and promotional renders
- Added new loading screens for Tomb Raider IV: The Last Revelation
- Updated Outfit Selector interface and added unlock condition hints for each outfit
- Made the X-Ray outfit playable via Outfit Selector (previously limited to Photo Mode)

- Angkor Wat: Added missing grate in crawlspace where Lara finds the backpack
- Race for the Iris: Fixed tree branches that disappeared at certain camera angles
- Tomb of Seth: Fixed wall disappearing at certain camera angles
- Alexandria: Fixed missing polygons on the fence padlocks
- Coastal Ruins: Fixed incorrect lens flare effect in a room without a skybox
- Pharos, Temple of Isis: Added fishes around the underwater temple entrance.
- Catacombs: Added missing 3D faces
- Temple of Poseidon: Fixed parts of the geometry disappearing at certain camera angles
- The Lost Library & Hall of Demetrius:
- Updated texture to match newly identified ancient Greek reference.
- Made a torch pickup more visible on the ground
- Fixed dark doors on the 2nd floor. Fixed issue with the dark wall Werner emerges from during cutscene

- Fixed visibility issue with levers

- Title flyby:
- Fixed transparency issue with a plant in VCI offices
- Fixed misaligned and mirrored bricks
- Fixed church ceiling briefly disappearing during the flyby

- Updated tree roots texture for better visual quality
- Fixed z-fighting issue on lever holes
- Trajan’s Markets:
- Fixed parts of the environment disappearing at certain camera angles
- Fixed visible skybox behind sewer fans
- Colosseum:
- Added 3D wall details
- Updated skybox to hide modern buildings
- Updated rock textures for better visual quality
- Smoothed out blocky geometry in the starting area of the level
- Russia chapter:
- Added food to the chef's tray for improved immersion
- Fixed the admiral's overly pale skin tone and lip color
- Fixed an issue where the claw operator could respawn after being defeated

- Fixed computer screens still displaying the word 'Active' after turning off the X-ray

- Replaced the flat staircase illusion with an actual 3D model
- Fixed a wall disappearing at the top of the staircase

Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness [General]
- Added two new outfits: TR6 Classic and TR6 Beta (Denim)
- Added planar and water reflections
- Added new HD models for characters and items that were previously not remastered
- Made various fixes and improvements to character models
- Added new voice lines throughout the game
- Added the ability to skip certain death animations after some time
- Improved Lara's transitions to swimming during water level changes or level beginnings
- Improved speed and responsiveness of certain Kurtis animations, such as crouching
- Added fully customizable 'Filter' settings to Photo Mode: noise, blur, color, target lines
- Added the ability to manually adjust brightness for Lara and Kurtis in Photo Mode
- Added health bar customization to the Options menu: always on or auto (matches Tomb Raider I-V behavior)
