This month the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Tomb Raider series continues with Eidos-Montréal's and Crystal Dynamics' final title in the Reboot/Survivor trilogy, Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

Crystal Dynamics' and Eidos-Montréal's critically-acclaimed, award-winning Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition's PS4 (compatible with PS5) and Xbox One (compatible with Xbox Series X|S) versions' ultimate collection (including all the bonus content) is now available digitally as a complete bundle called Tomb Raider: Definitive Survivor Trilogy.

Here comes (November 5, 2019) a new release for Shadow of the Tomb Raider, the origin story's last chapter. It will feature all seven DLCs so far, and every other bonus content. Apparently there won't be big new features, except 'additional gameplay adjustments" and a "Croft Fitness" outfit.

Lara Croft's latest adventure, Shadow of the Tomb Raider released worldwide today! Our heroine has to compete with time to save the world from the Maya apocalypse!

Shadow of the Tomb Raider will feature Native 4K resolution, HDR, High-Quality Anti-Aliasing, Proven Ambient Occlusion and many other high-end features on PC at launch! The partnership with NVIDIA will also includes the addition of NVIDIA RTX Ray Traced Shadows for gamers with GeForce RTX GPUs.

The previous two episodes of the reboot series, Tomb Raider (2013) and Rise of the Tomb Raider also provided some options that helped raiders to find their own style, however, in Shadow of the Tomb Raider players will have even more way to find the perfect path for themselves. The reboot era is about to rise up to a whole new level starting with Shadow of the Tomb Raider, as we can see within a short video series. The more challenging traversal will definitely spice up the simple platforming and the jaw-dropping tombs' puzzles, and all this in a much more colorful, eye-catching environment.

If you don’t mind spoilers you can watch Shadow of the Tomb Raider's first 15 minutes, thanks to IGN! There's not much time left until the release date, September 14th, but this video surely won't be the last tidbit we got, since IGN will show us something new during the whole month.

Rob Bridgett, the audio and music director for Shadow of the Tomb Raider talks about how important is to represent Lara's darker emotions and her fight against the jungle at the same time. He and the new composer, Brian D'Oliveira were working hard on implement the South American culture faithfully in every sound.
