Tomb Raider 25 Year Celebration

Today is Valentine's Day! Tomb Raider Fans know very well what it means.
February 14th is the birthday of our true, one and only heroine, Lara Croft! Another great opportunity for us to show: we will never forget her.

The original Tomb Raider game was released on 25 October 1996, so this year is going to be a special one because the world's one of the most iconic action-adventure games will celebrate its 25th anniversary.

Crystal Dynamics' staff share their excitement in an announcement video that especially made for the 25th anniversary celebrations of the Tomb Raider series:

Nearly 15 years after Re\Visioned: Tomb Raider Animated Series, Lara Croft is getting another anime series - this time under Netflix's and Legendary Television's wings.

MGM and Warner Bros. hired Misha Green (Lovecraft Country) to replace Amy Jump (Kill List), who previously worked on the script, and Ben Wheatley (Free Fire), who was set to direct the sequel.

We remastered, upscaled, remixed, and remade Core Design's original renders and wallpapers to bring you a total of 107 wallpapers from Tomb Raider 1, 2, 3, The Last Revelation, Chronicles, and The Angel of Darkness for your mobile devices. We hope you like them as much as we enjoyed making them for you!

2021 (also the year of the 25th anniversary of the Tomb Raider series) starts with a bang because Core Design's cancelled Tomb Raider: 10th Anniversary Edition has been resurfaced as a kinda playable, early alpha. What a nice, unexpected surprise, right?!

Square Enix London Mobile and Emerald City Games proudly present their upcoming free-to-play action-arcade game for mobile called Tomb Raider Reloaded, starring classic Lara Croft - all in cartoon style!
